Fanny Bay Fog Bound Blues: Friday, January 24th

I like not only to be loved, but to be told that I am loved; the realm of silence is large enough beyond the grave. -George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans), novelist (1819-1880)

Hi Patricio,

Nice that you’ve been able to connect with many different friends while up there. We have spent quite a bit of time over the years visiting old friends in Comox as well, they also had a cabin at beautiful Kai bay right below the Comox air base.

Wished we had known about the bike route you found as well as it sounds quite pleasant..we will definitely have to revisit once I have upgraded my ride and done some needed training to get up to speed so to speak. Just about done here on the show thankfully, had to work from 7 am to 8:30 pm yesterday to get the last build for shipping to LA today. but next week will be a breeze as there’ is not a lot to do and I expect some nice short days and to be officially done by weeks end.

misc. pics  don’t know if I sent any of these to you before but here I am conversing with Thomas Edison, Vaughner Eiffel, Jules Verne and Nichola Tesla..or should I say the geniuses of the world having a meeting, Some very interesting frost patterns on my truck window that I was hesitant to scrape off, a prosthetics dummy made by our award winning make up FX wizard Bill Terazakis, Director Brad bird and myself at the Tomorrowland wrap party. Take care and we’ll talk soon, give my love to human owner and, Corriander. Cheers, Al

Lots of lovely resort cats. We secure extra food from the buffets and make the rounds feeding them. They can't believe Cimcky's life! Grog

Hey Pat! Sounds like all is well- hope fog does not affect our Monday Nanaimo flight... Jim and Deb are great neighbours, and Jim and I are supposed to play some squash when we get back. I have done that bike route to Qualicum- it is great. I have not done the newly finished end near Qualicum (Dolly...?) Looks like Cimcky is doing fine.

Each day here is pretty much sunny, around 75 for a high. About a 1 and 1/2 hour walk after breakfast, and about 2 to 3 hours of beach volleyball each afternoon. After each game, we change ends, have a beer, and carry on..Playing with an RCMP constable from Nunnavit. - 65 C. When he left!  Say hi to the gang...Grog

Hi Janet and Stormin'!

Grand to see you both and your very comfortable, very attractive home. Lucy seems lovely but I'm sure she's a handful!
Make sure you give us a call when in town, Stormando! Cheers to you three, Patrizzio!

When are you leaving the island. Wayne

Rosita's/Cora Lee's Pizza Take-away! Free bottle of wine with each X-Large!!!!

Hi Patrick,   I'm so glad to hear that you are all well and enjoying your visits. Rick is not getting any better and is off to the clinic, hopefully to get some relief.
It's funny, we've also seen Barney Bentall a few times at our little Brackendale Unicorn Theatre where I believe you came with us once several years back. The Crown Isle Resort is quite nice and would be a wonderful place to see him perform.

The fog in your pictures is so eerie and has been covering Vancouver, as well. On a side note, we are just high enough that Squamish has been bathed in bright sunshine with cool frosty mornings, but lovely warmth as the day moves along. It has been a busy work week, but Rick and I hope to mend ourselves with some homemade soups and rest so we can get back to normal (whatever that is) next week. Ruth

P.S. Jazzy misses all of you and especially Cimcky. She loved having a little mystery and spice added to her day and new places to explore.
