Remorse is a violent dyspepsia of the mind. -Ogden Nash, poet (1902-1971)
Hi Patrice,
Happy to oblige with the random destructive testing of the Madrona manor
furnishings! Obviously there are some items of low quality that needed to be
weeded out.

so much natural surroundings. We had a great time with you guys as well as
Ricki and Ruthless aka Minnie, they were a lot of fun.
I really enjoyed the time getting to Know Clara and Dusty, Had of course seen them many times and you gatherings but not had any sort of in depth conversations. They really are so very nice and I have nothing but admiration considering all the history they have had. feel bad that we had to depart so soon, you guys are such wonderful hosts and we always have a great time with you both. Thanks again for everything and we'll look forward to seeing you again soon. Cheers, Al
Hi Patrizio The Younger!
Trust you are well in spite of being back in Olso, working and freezing to death! Let me know how things are going, at work and with your plans to study. Take care of yourself. Cheers, Patrizzio! Hi again, Trizzio! Forgot to attach last snaps from The Islay Inn! Cheers, Patrizzio The Elder!
Hi Minnie Mouse and Grumpoid Extraordinaire!
Trust all went well with ferry and drive home. Just a quick note to thank you both for joining us and making the weekend such a pleasant, pleasant time. Again, thank you both for the wonderfully delicious food and fabulous wines. Ricardo's dyspeptic company was a bit difficult to take and put a damper on the general joviality but other than that a grand time was had by one and all! [Note: This email has not been vetted for delicacy!] Take care of yourselves. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hello to our favorite Madrona Manor members,
Believe it or not, but we made the 3 o'clock ferry with 20 minutes to spare.
Rick worked on the way home and I wondered on deck and then read my
book about being stranded on a Lifeboat, somewhat appropriate or not.
We made it home, but Rick appears to be getting sick so I hope that the
rest of you are fine.
Thanks for a lovely memorable weekend. I'm so glad we were able to have
this time together, with or without my voice, because it's always an adventure.
Also, thanks for letting us bring Jazzy and helping us out with her while we golfed and visited our friends. We really appreciated your hospitality, as always.
Ruth
P.S. Tell Corinne that the extra deck of bridge cards she pointed out to me were indeed ours, oops! I should have had Rick check them out as he picked them out. If you could bring them back with you that would be great.
Tues Jan 21...got a call from Andrew Sredski he is trying to reach you!?
I did not get the call but Bruce picked it up, (it was only 7AM our
time I guess A. forgot about the change of time to Pacific...Bruce was
not amused to be woken up needless to say)! I do not have a phone number
for you home nor cell so could not be of any
help, perhaps best if you call him. Ginette
Hi Ginette!
Trust you are well in spite of Andrew's early morning call! I have been here in Parksville since the 9th of this month, house/cat sitting for freinds who are in Nassau for a few weeks. Bumped into Ryan at Reckless day before I left for Vancouver. He told me about his coming wedding. Congratulations. Cheers, Patrizzio!
Interesting retirement you and Corinne are enjoying...busy, active, friends, family etc. all the good things in life. Yes Andrew did say to Bruce tha the was trying to locate you on the Island as you were housesitting and he did not have a number to reach you, hopefully you have or will contact him in YYZ!
regards, Ginette
p.s yes Ryan got engaged on Dec. 13th and wedding will be on Sept. 20 at
Painted Boat on the Sunshine coast, his fiance Genvieve is a school
teacher and a great gal with a great family which we will be very happy
to "blend" with comes Fall. Hi again Ginette!
Lovely pictures of the young couple!
Yes, I did talk to Andrew so I trust no more early morning calls. Cheers, Patrizzio!
Hi Gayle and Derek!
Hi Raymond and James!

After Clan Durston left for Courtenay, I had a bite to eat, fuel for my intended ride and then suited up. Left house at 11:45 am and headed for Englishman River Estuary. Had decided I'd try to log 100+ km on the Estuary Falls Loop. With this in mind
Hello Patrick,
Thank you for the condolences. Uncle Aubrey was (is) a bright and inspiring light to so many folks. His circle of caring and mentorship extended throughout the Yukon, the Caribbean island of St. Lucia, the unique societies of Papua New Guinea and a multitude of rural communities in B.C. and the N.W.T. Mark's eulogy for his dad captured all of our hearts and is undeniable evidence that Aubrey lives on.
BTW , I do not sing in St. Mary's choir but rather in Canadian Memorial United Church choir. We have the same music director (Lonnie Delisle) as the UG Choir and share a fair bit of their uplifting repertoire. Bye for now, Fond Regards, Stephen
