Hi Patrick,
OK
I have booked the cab to pick you up at the airport on the 18 April so
you can rest a little before the party. However if you would like a
less expensive
option, at our 6pm it’s your 1 am on the same day and we could send you
photos various of the festivities and as it is a 50’s theme it could be
amusing if not completely ridiculous. If you all do decide that a
personal visit is warranted then you will not
be admitted unless you are in theme, the options are; wear it, bring
it, eat it or sing it from the 50,s (James Dean seems to be everyone
favourite at this time).
Jenga looked like a game open to subtle manipulation as one removed ones block a techniques I am sure as a colonialist you would be well accustomed to. Just a side issue Sarge seemed to have lost quite a bit of weight in the photo and looked quite the part in his RCMP uniform who was the civilian standing next to him?? Great hearing from you again. Cheers Greg and Claire
I am planing my visit to Vancouver so we need to plan to go out to a restaurant. I see several are rated high by Zagat. What do you recommend?..........Dave
Hi David!
What wonderful news indeed! (Do you have a broken arm?) Have you applied for your passport yet? When do you plan to be in town? How long will you staying in Vancouver? If you have time, I urge you to take a trip to the Okanagan but more of that later.
What sort of food are you interested in? (Too, too many questions, I'm told by Coriandre!) Let us know and we'll come up with some suggestions. Regards from Cora Lee to you and Pat. Really looking forward to seeing you both. Cheers, Patrizzio!
Hi there, Now you two have each other’s email, you can ride, watch/discuss movies and or while drinking beer/scotch !!!

You forgot to mention bridge! I'm off shortly, with Rosie-The-Riveter, to play Whirlgyig and Theodorakis! Cheers, 7 No Trump Patrizzio!
P, Lest I forget, Ed would be interested in playing bridge. Not tonight. W
Hi Reel People!
Just back from bridge and have to admit that Rosita and Theodorakis dominated the evening with their audacious bidding and high octane cards. Loads of fun in spite of having far poorer hands that I could have wished for. Cheers, Patrizzio!
Btw couple of top rated come to mind is Bishop's or le crocodile , seasons in the park is always good for a view some new ones opened in gastown.. I have a list but leaving my most expensive suggestion in anticipation of u picking up the tab
If I pick the resturant does that mean I am invited and you are picking up the bill ??
Flamin'! You choose the restaurant AND you pay the tab! Time for The Freeloaders to pay the piper! Cheers, Patrizzio!
Hi Pat, Here is my short reply to your lengthy letter: yes, let's ride on Saturday. Is 9 a good start time for you? I could do earlier if you prefer. We could meet at the Starbucks just above the entrance to Granville Isl. Thanks. Looking forward to chatting and riding and having a java together! Sara.
Hi Viognier Woman!
Saturday at 9:00 sounds fine. However, why not come right to our place as we are only a block away. I can meet you at Starbucks if you don't remember how to get here. We live at #20-1425 Lamey's Mill Road. If you come to the parking lot outside our building, (Harbour Terrace), you can take the sidewalk, to your left, up to arrive between the building opposite ours and then about half way down you will see a sign with a cat, #20 Island Inn and come right onto our patio. You can have a java here if you'd like, or later. What route had you in mind? Horseshoe Bay? Seymour Demo Forest? Anyway, let me know and we'll plan accordingly. Cheers, Patrizzio!
I didn't set out until about 3:30 pm as it had been raining heavily and incessantly almost until 2:25 pm. Then the sun came out and it turned into quite a lovely day. Took my Brodie as I thought I might get caught in a downpour but managed to do three loops of Prospect Point without but a few light spittings of rain. Stats for today's ride:
55.36 km over 2:43'22, AVG 20.3 km/h
Quick shower and then Theodorakis came to coollect Rosita and I and we headed for Giggster's place where we played bridge. Rosie adn Theo had all the cards and dominated the play, bidding and making a small slam so they were in top form. Att eh end of the evening they were the overall winners and then they added insult to injury by winning a slow rubber. Still, loads of fun.
