Bill Copeland Synchronized Blues: Friday, February 21st!

I and the public know. / What all schoolchildren learn. / Those to whom evil is done. / Do evil in return -W.H. Auden, poet (1907-1973)

P, Enjoy the figure skating and be wary of the stanchions. I am off to Seattle overnight tonight leaving mid afternoon so I will not be able to join the Tea Cozy Peloton -TCP on Saturday. Maybe Ray and I will get out this morning if the weather cooperates -- and with lattes in the offing. W

Pat, My 30 K looks rather paltry compared with the 75 you recorded but I felt OK riding and hope to increase my distances gradually as the weather improves. Can't get out Saturday morning unfortunately. Time to get a start in the garden as it looks dry enough to add some compost and perhaps get some broad beans started. I want to be back inside to watch Wales v France live on the French channel (TV5) at noon. Ray

Hi Pat, I sure do hope that you're out having a great ride day today! I wish that I could be but the UBC Library can't do without me so, alas, here I am, not biking.

I keep looking at the weather for tomorrow and I am getting cold wet feet. But I'm willing to be optomistic. Realistic would probably have us reschedule. What do you think? Sara

Hi Fair Weather Whistler Woman!

Wish I was out riding today but I was volunteering again. Ironic that almost two best days we've had for some time and I was stuck inside, like you!

Tomorrow's forecast seems to support your pessimism so I'm willing to reschedule, being the inordinately flexible person I am! For my part, I'll probably try to go riding later in day if conditions allow. If that suits you, fine. Looks like there may be a window between noon and 2:00 pm on Sunday but I think you said you usually do some housework for your parents. Anyway, let me know what you think about domani as well as Sunday and we'll plan accordingly. As well, have you any possible dates for a dinner with you and your menfolk? We'd like to have you here whenever it works. Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi.  Ok, so no ride tomorrow - but soon I hope.  Yes, I'll be putting my folks house into shape on Sunday.  Thanks so much for the dinner idea - we'd love to come.  We aren't nearly  so busy as you retired folks so what works for you?   Thanks!!  Sara

March 9 looks good  - plan to be in the Green Lettuce meeting. hope won't need an umbrella this evening. thanks, M

I'm definitely in! Victor thanks for arranging this. Just looking over the extensive menu, I hope you are prepared to provide some guidance!
8^) cheers, Mark
