Dearest Marcus! For an anti-FB fanatic methinks thou dost protest overmuch! Anyway, takes a Luddite to know a Luddite! Cheers, Patrizzio Palm Pilot Dunn!
P, good ride lasterday. Quite remarkable to witness the ragged peloton in motion. I regret that I will not be able to join you this morning. If I can get out it would have to be late morning. Hope to meet Sara another time. Have a good ride -- weather looks promising right now. Forecast is not as promising. W
Hi Raggedy Giggster! Sorry you can't join us but I know the Shackles of The Sisterhood are fashioned of tempered steel! Will talk anon. Cheers, Patrizzio!

- Patrick James Dunn Glad I managed my four cities, (Vancouver, Burnaby, New West, Richmond), ride earlier this morning, out to UBC, Marine to Kent and then Queeensborough to River Road, Cambie SkyTrain Bridge to Heather and home! Stats for ride: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/453450083...
Had a wonderful day yesterday and it felt great to be back in the saddle!.So nice to catch up with everyone after quite an absence. Now that I have done an inaugural run on the lotus and felt it out I must say I am very happy with my $1 purchase and will now spend some more time fixing it up to make it a bit more customized to my personal taste. As I was saying I was very happy with the gearing which made it seem very easy to keep up with the peleton as opposed to the old Cannondale mountain bike. I’ll look forward to getting out again soon..have a great day! Al

Dearest Aquitaine!
First let me say please don't apologize for not being in touch. Cannot even imagine how difficult, terribly difficult your life must have been over the last few years, as you describe. Our hearts go out to you and Julia for all the pain and emotional turmoil you have obviously been through. Must have taken a tremendous amount of courage to ask for the divorce but am pleased that you are happy with the decision and the resulting positive change.
Not at all easy to start all over but I know that you can do it, given who you are and how strong you are. Onward! Fight! Bravo! Of course, all of us, (Chloë and Ayn don't know yet but I know I speak for them.), would love to see you and welcome you into our circle of family and friends. We've always cared deeply for you and Julia and have missed not seeing you both.
At any rate, when you are back from Kamloops give us a call or send a message sooner and we'll arrange to get together at the earliest possible time, busy schedules and lives allowing. Coincidentally, Ayn will be flying to Bellingham next Friday. A very close uncle, Erich Vogt, died a few weeks ago and she is coming to attend the memorial service. Chloë is picking her up on Friday, we are driving her back down on Monday. I know it is short notice, you being away and all, but if it might work for you and Julia perhaps we could arrange a visit of some sort on Sunday. Service is on Saturday and we have been invited to attend family dinner afterwards.
Anyway, don't worry if this is too complicated. Just wanted you to know about Ayn's whirlwind visit and thought you might like to see her as well. Loads to catch up on so look forward to seeing you soon. Much warm love from both Cora Lee and I. Fondestos and Cheers, Patrizzio!
Hi Hard Working Coquitlam Man!
Thanks for sending along your contact information. Trust you are well. Busy here but fine. Cora Lee might as well be back working she's attending so many meetings! Here are some of the snaps I took when you were here. Grand to have you back in BC. Hope we'll see more of you now. Cheers, Patrizzio!
We had intended to go to Iona but because of the likelihood of construction activity, similar to what we encountered yesterday, I suggested Kent to Burnaby Zona Industriale and then Queensborough. Did just that and had to fight a horrendous head wind through ZI and then on approach to bridge. Sara, of course, hardly hnoticed gale force winds! Once over, however, wind was at our back and we hurtled along River Road. Was even maintaining an AVG of 22.1 km/h by this time! Back over CSTB and up Heather, to make our way back to The Heartbreak Terrace. Showed Sara where to find our patio entrance as she and her husband, Dermot, are coming for dinner this evening. Hope I can stay awake as I must admit, I was glad to be home by the ride's end! Stats:

Hope to get in more jaunts with her as push really is great. Need a few of you lads to join in to take some of the heat so we "elitists" can catch our breath! Cheers, Il Conduttore Castigato!
Hi Pat, Here is the story about the apples. I was right about Newton but
wrong about Vogt - it was a different guy who got the tree cuttings.
Still interesting, though.
Out of my league, I'm afraid! In the interests of notarial accuracy, can you please certain discrepancies? To wit: Why there are 2 seconds where no movement is noted - did your feet perchance touch the ground somewhere?
How is it that you were at one point, 12 feet below sea level? Did you have to use your snorkleheimerwhatsit thingy? And why did you end up losing 6 feet more than you gained? Are you still in the land of the living or are you truly 6 feet under? Please clarify. yours truly, Facebook-free in Burnaby
